Spring Surf -Morocco-

February till May I belong to the waves of Imsouane, one of the best waves to improve the surf.

In my opinion!

So, some circumstances made me stay there and I made it my homebase.

Incredible experience for me to get to know a wave so well...in the end it doesn´t matter which size.

If you know your wave...it means relaxed surfing and improving every day :-)

 Sometimes, I was struggeling to go out with my Malibu if there was a potential swell...

but using the shortboard and leaving the water happy is also an oportunity. 

No reasons to worry! 

  Once a wave in Imesouane...and you are in a fiever of riding!!!

Time to repeat turns and always a possibility to catch a wave made me learn so much during these 3 month...love it! 

Bottom, Top, Bottom Top...non stop...

 

 

Moments, I knew I am in the wrong place or on the wrong board...April, slowly time for Windsurfing started.

I also enjoyed the Reef break or Cathedral point on the western bay.

But this gives most fun with a short lady...

 

 

 Without additional training many sessions ending out in a desaster...

Regularly workouts and Yoga sessions start belonging to my day as well as the surf! 

If there is no surf - workout. 

Because of a problem with my hip joint, I am not alowed to run anymore. 

But for everything is a solution...aerobics and other cardio variations giving the same result.

 The very new Imsouane Ocean Surfhouse was a perfect place to practice my yoga during the colder month.

 I love to SURF, there is no way back!

And like always, if I have to leave the big ocean, I am gonna miss it. 

But sometimes, life is more than waves...

It was a pleasure to spend my time again at a wonderful place with some wonderful waves & amazing people.

And it was hard to leave, because waves didn´t stop & people staying...but visa, family, the pressure to earn money & wind forced me to move ;-)
